How GDPR could be applicable to the stm32duino.com?? :o
Users' personal information is protected by the GDPR. The old forum has a lot of personal information (email, location, etc).
There was not such an information on the old forum, imho. Who put there his full name, address (street, house number, town, zip), phone number, date of birth, etc? A personal information as per GDPR is an information which may unambiguously lead to identification of a person.

Name like JohnnyK with an email like jk234@happyworld.com with a location like London is not subject to GDPR, you bet :)

do agree that on the internet it is best to operate with a psuedo name and psuedo address
but i'd guess GPDR specifically mention 'personal data', hence legally it would be a problem as there isn't really a way to tell if it is a psuedo name and psuedo address after all

GPDR shouldn't be valid on the Dark side of the Moon after all...

It's insane how much more active stm32duino immediately is compared to this forum >_<
Strange to see how hard it is for people to move somewhere else.

I know, but until a few days ago, this was all we had. And there were some people here, but now stm32duino is back, there immediately are a LOT more people there O_O.
It just amazes me a bit.

There are lots of blog posts that reference STM32duino.com
So, it is reasonable that the "dead" link was clicked often.

Even https://www.leaflabs.com/maple states:
You can still read the docs. As of August 2016 the forums have been converted to a static archive. We recommend checking out the resources and community at www.stm32duino.com.
