Re: Example: Write / Read to IPS6404 PSRAM (8 MB)

I just wonder why is there a big difference between with and w/o DMA, since I optimized quite a lot the non-DMA read and write routines.
I mean the USB and systick IRQs should not have such an influence.

Great!
Just a small note: you don't have to call SPI.begin() if you call SPI.beginTransaction(...).

STM32F401CCU6 blackpill board

I just committed some changes to support Blackpill F401 in my repo.
Blinky works, and anything else should also work, as I tried a lot of interfaces of F411 which was used as base for F401.

Should anyone give it a try and find some problems, please open issues in my repo.

I think I will prepare a variant in my core for this f401 board.

Re: Bluepill with CKS32F103C8T6

Maybe it's time to upgrade to F4? They are getting very cheap.

Re: I2C slave reliability?

I2C has been reworked lately to support slave functionality, see here: https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... 2/pull/679
However, I cannot say anything about the reliability, but you can do some stress tests to find out more about.

Re: I2C slave reliability?

Why not using one of the 3 serial interfaces?

Re: Softwire question

Please open an issue on Github, and eventually also a pull request.
