Re: Example: Write / Read to IPS6404 PSRAM (8 MB)

@ag123

When soldering the PSRAM , did you populate the 100nF cap ?
What about the "suggested" 10K pullup on /CS ?

I have 10 x LY68L6400SLIT lying around ;) ;)

Re: STM32F401CCU6 blackpill board

I just committed some changes to support Blackpill F401 in my repo . Blinky works, and anything else should also work, as I tried a lot of interfaces of F411 which was used as base for F401. Should anyone give it a try and find some problems, please open issues in my repo. Thanx Steve :) Will try w...

Is the new CKS32F103C8T6 only 64K flash ?

Somehow i got the impression that the CKS32F103C8T6 , also had 2 x 64K flash. But someone here - has one that fails above 64K https://www.eevblog.com/forum/microcontrollers/stm32f103c8-diagnostic-bootable-binary-freely-available/msg2830380/#msg2830380 Could be bad chip , or ?? Any of you tried those...

Re: Bluepill supported uarts (Rodgers core)

@mrburnette

Thanx , I have enough now.

I'l give it a "brief" try , or switch to libopencm3.
Reading through all that "core" stuff , might be harder than do it w. ocm3

Re: trying out stm's core

Nice post (linux here to)

Did you install another copy of "arduino ide" too , in order not to pollute the "Old Core" stuff ?
If not , how did you distinguish (select) between the cores fro the ide.

If not using the ide ... Hand over the makefiles & other tips .... please

Re: Bluepill supported uarts (Rodgers core)

Ohh ... saw BMP mentioned in your notes.

I made a combined BP binary here (easy to load w a std programmer) , and a short how2 build from source

Re: Bluepill supported uarts (Rodgers core)

@mrburnette Thank you for this info :) I need 2 "real" uarts , and the USB uart , and saw that the BP has 3 "real uarts". I was just wondering if i could easily hack something together w. arduino. If i had to do ie. the 2'nd uart from the bottom , i'd prob do it all with libopencm3 instead. I'll giv...
